Gleiton Arantes
O município de Formiga comemorou nesta terça-feira (6) 159 anos de emancipação político-administrativa. Pela manhã foi realizado o tradicional Desfile Cívico no Centro da cidade.
As bandeiras foram hasteadas pelas autoridades: prefeito Eugênio Vilela (bandeira de Formiga), tenente coronel Paulo José Azevedo (bandeira de Minas) e 1º tenente Giovanni Eustáquio Barroso (bandeira do Brasil).
O evento contou com a participação dos atiradores do TG 04-030, Apromid, alunos de 18 escolas municipais, divididas em quatro blocos, Escola Estadual Aureliano Rodrigues Nunes, Escola Estadual Rodolfo Almeida, escoteiros, Grupo Capoeira Gerais, Colégio Santa Teresinha e da comitiva de cavaleiros e amazonas do Parque de Exposições.
Além do prefeito de Formiga, o palanque foi composto pelo tenente coronel Paulo José Azevedo, pelo 1º tenente Giovanni Eustáquio Barroso, parte do secretariado e pelos vereadores Wilse Marques, Evandro Donizeth (Piruca), Sidney Ferreira e Flávio Couto.
