A bola já rolou pelo Campeonato Municipal de Futebol sub-20. As três primeiras partidas do campeonato foram realizadas no final de semana passado.
No sábado (15), a partida entre Nacional e Vila Esporte Clube terminou em ox0. O jogo ocorreu no estádio João Francisco de Paula (campo do Vila).
As outras duas partidas aconteceram no domingo, no estádio Juca Pedro (campo do Formiga). A equipe do Frangão venceu o Beira Rio por 4×1. Em seguida, o Formiga Esporte Clube goleou o Guarani por 7×0.
A competição conta com sete equipes. Nesta primeira rodada o time Operário não entrou em campo.
A segunda rodada do campeonato será no próximo final de semana. No sábado (22), jogam Frangão e Guarani, às 14h, em seguida, Operário e Nacional, às 15h30. Já no domingo (23), se enfrentam Beira Rio e Formiga, às 9h. Todas as partidas ocorrerão no campo do FEC.
O campeonato está sendo organizado pela Liga Amadora de Formiga (LAF), juntamente com o Departamento de Esportes da Secretaria Municipal de Educação e a Associação dos Clubes de Futebol de Formiga.
